Da bi dao maximum od sebe, Jakov odustaje od pratece gitare i posvecuje se samo pjevanju. Prvi nastup stigao je vrlo brzo, u Domu Mladih nastupa ova postava i osvaja trece mjesto. Jednoglasno se slozivsi, band odlucuje da je potrebna jos jedna gitara, a tko bi to bolje odradio od Alena koji upravo nakon koncerta izlazi iz drugog rijeckog banda i zauzima vazno mjesto u DD-u. Samo par proba imali su kako bi se ustimali, uhodali i pripremili za naredni koncert u starome gradu, gdje su suprotno svim ocekivanjima napravili odlican performance, odlicno odsvirali i vidno zadovoljili publiku.

            Band nakon krace stanke nastupa u Palachu. Nakon tog koncerta basista Igor odlucuje napustiti band. Band se brzo snalazi i pronalazi zamjenu. Njegovu poziciju zauzima Damir, bivši Alenov kolega iz prijašnjeg banda. Band s malcice izmjenjenom postavom krece u nove pohode i svira na vise koncerata u Palachu, Big Rock Mami i Alter Egu. Nakon kojih band se odlucuje za snimanje demo materijala.

            Ne bas previse zadovoljni nacinom sviranja novog basiste Damira band trazi zamjenu. A tko bi to bolje mogao napraviti nego bivsi basista Igor koji se vraca u band i baca se na snimanje demo materijala. Originalna postava je opet tu i band je snimio svoj prvi demo uradak.             Nakon dosta pozitivnih reakcija band nastavlja s radom na novim pjesmama uz malu izmjenu zvuka. Uz planiranje svirki band priprema novih sest pjesama i ubrzo namjerava ponovo uci u studio na snimanje drugog demo materijala.

            Upon realizing they had the same music interests, ideas and affinities, Jakov (vocals & rhythm guitar), Armando (drums) and Marin (lead guitar) created a band, Diamond Dust, in mid April of 2006. They started rehearsing, but after a month they decided to find a bass player to fill the empty space, so Igor arrived into the band. This gave Diamond Dust a far more different sound, and Armando got a partner in the rhythm section. To give his best, Jakov gave up the rhythm guitar and dedicated to singing only.           

            The first performance came fast; in "Dom Mladih" where Diamond Dust won the third place. The band then unanimously agreed that they needed another guitar, and the best person they could find was Alen, who had just left his previous band, so he took an important role in Diamond Dust. With a new player in the band, Diamond Dust had time for only a few rehearsals before another show in "Stari Grad", where they, contrary to the expectations, gave a great performance.

            Diamond Dust fell into problems as Igor decided to leave the band due to other responsibilities. This, however, did not discourage them. Soon, they found a new bass player, Damir. He fit in in a very short time, so the band decided to keep him. With this line up, Diamond Dust played several concerts at "Palach", "Big Rock Mama", and "Alter Ego", and then decided to record its first demo material.

          As the band was not quite satisfied with Damir's playing, Igor was called back and the original crew was up and running again. The band recorded its first demo album and the material can be dowloaded from the bands website.

           After many positive reactions, the band continues to work on new songs with a slight change in sound. While planning the shows, the band is preparing six new songs and intending to enter the studio again to record its second demo album.
